Somaliland: Invitation to the 22nd Independence Anniversary Commemorations in London

We are inviting the Somaliland diaspora in the UK and Europe to take part in this historic event to showcase their nationalism and unity; this will be a day time and evening event for both adults and children.

Venue:                        Barnet Football Club, Underhill Stadium,

Barnet Lane, Barnet, EN5 2DN

Date                                                      Saturday 18 May 2013

Time                                                    1pm – 9pm

Nearest public transport              Barnet Tube Station (Northern line) 

5 minutes walk from the station.

Entry fee                                             £10 adults - £1 children

Any income generated from the event will be donated to Somaliland’s orphans
The celebration program includes a live final match between two Somaliland football teams who will play at the stadium and a cup presented to the winner, children entertainment, speeches by the Vice President, senior ministers among his delegation and other honourable guests including friends of Somaliland.  There will also be performances of Patriotic songs, poems and Somaliland traditional dance.

Foreign and local media are welcome to the event.
